RWENZURURU KINGGDOM ACCOUNTS FOR KING MUMBERE’S HOMECOMING CASH

The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has officially given out accountability for the money that was recently collected from the subjects and well-wishers to facilitate three major activities in the cultural institution.
The activities include the Omusinga’s homecoming from Kampala where he had stayed close to seven years battling court cases, the coronation anniversary and procurement of Springs International Hotel.
While addressing the press today morning at Rwenzori International University in Kasese town, Mr. Constantine Bwambale, the Treasurer for the three activities explained that they were able to collect over 184 million shillings out of the required 9 billion shillings.
According to him, over shillings 35 million was used during the Omusinga’s homecoming function while over shillings 67 million facilitated the coronation function among others.
Dr. Nathaniel Mumbere Walemba, the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, hailed all the Rwenzururu Subjects and well-wishers for their generosity towards the activities of the Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu.
He used the same platform to appeal to the people to continue tendering in their support towards the procurement of Springs International Hotel.
Mrs. Juliet Best Kambale, the Vice Chairperson for the organizing committee, encouraged all the Rwenzururu subjects to uphold the Omusinga’s message of peace, reconciliation, socio- economic transformation and mindset change among others.
