IGG KAMYA: CORRUPTION IS MOST TALKED ABOUT TOPIC BY YOUNG AND OLD IN UGANDA

The inspector general of government, Betie Oliver Kamya Tirwomwe has revealed that the most talked about topic in Uganda by the young and old is non other than corruption.
Ms Kamya said this today July 14, 2024 while presiding over a re-union of old students of Ruyonza school in Nyakabirizi division Bushenyi district.
She noted that some time back, it was written in the books study that pupils and students would be asked the main problems of Uganda as; ignorance, poverty and disease but now in Uganda the answer is corruption.
She also asked the students and old boys and girls of Ruyonza school to lead as example and fight corruption.
Personally, she hailed the people of Bushenyi for supporting her late husband Spencer Tirwomwe during parliamentary seat for Igara East.
She added that even her son Spencer Anald Tirwomwe has been greatly supported in Igara East and Bushenyi Ishaka municipal parliamentary seats.
She contributed 5 million for buying computers and the deputy speaker of parliament an OB Pledged 10m to pay it next week.
Mr. Katwarana Anthony is the chairman of old students’ association and with his executive they did a great job for the success of today’s function.
Emeritus Bishop Katoneene led the prayers assisted by the archdeacon of kitagata Rev. Can. Arthur Atwiine.
Other notable OBs that attended included Commissioner Winston Katushabe, Mr.Robert Muhereza Korutaro who is also chairperson board of governors, Mr. Henry Bamwiine of Shell Bushenyi and Mbarara, Mr. Pison Mugizi and senior Teacher Kafuremben among other notable OBs and OGs.
