Four National Unity Platform supporters have this afternoon been arrested as they filled potholes along Parsley Street in Hoima City.
ASP Julius Allan Hakiza the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson has confirmed the arrest.
He explained that the suspects are going to be charged for spreading the deadly corona virus, and also filling potholes without the authority.
He noted that out of many, they managed to arrest four, and they are under detention at Hoima Central Police Station, while their files are being worked on.
“It’s the work of the government to construct or rehabilitate roads, if anyone is to do so, he or she is authorized by the government,” the police mouthpiece noted.
