45 YEAR OLD ARRESTED FOR DEFILING OWN DAUGHTER

Mr. Perez Mbeera a resident of Rwamanzi cell Kashaka, Bubare sub
county mbarara district is said to have pregnated his 17 year old
daughter after his wifeKellenBusingye divorced for two months due to
misunderstandings in the family.

Ms. Kellendiscovered that her daughter was pregnant after six months
when she was about to give birth and her father has since denied the
pregnancy which prompted Kellen to report to the authorities at the
local level who aided the arrest of Mr. Perez
In his statement at Mbarara central police station, Mr. Perez pleaded
guilty to having pregnated own daughter and blames the act on
alcoholism since he was drunk on that fateful day when he slept with
the daughter as well as mental challenges.

‘’My wife had divorced me for two months in last and my daughter told
me that I allow her take on her mother’s duties in the home she has
been performing for me but I did not like it so I went for drinking
and when I came back, I remembered what she had told me during the day
so I slept with her and I did not know that I had pregnated her since
it was her first time’’ Mr. Perez said

Mbarara OC CID ChirigaTaban condemned the act and advised parents to
focus on nurturing their children than creating bad precedent in the
next generation.

Parents should stop domestic violence because this was brought about
when the wife disagreed with the husband and then a man used the
daughter after the mother had left home’’ Mr. Taban said

He blamed the act on domestic violence in families since Perez used
his wife’s divorce to misuse his own daughter.

Mr. Taban said the suspect will be charged of aggravated defilement
and incest (producing with a relative)

Mr. Taban urged local leaders to help in solving family conflicts to
avoid such hilarious acts in the society which should not be happening
in this era.
