49 YEARS OLD MAN ARRESTED ON ALLEGATIONS OF IMPREGNATING P7 GIRL IN KABALE

The territorial police of Kabale have in custody a 49 years old man who alleged to have impregnated a Primary Seven girl in Kabale Municipality.

Elly Maate the Kigezi Region police spokesperson identified the suspect as Nkuruziza Etienne alias Kazungu a resident of Kigongi “B” cell Central ward/ division Kabale municipality/ district.

Maate said that the suspect who is a neighbour to the girl’s residence, alleged defiled her between the month of August and September 2022 in the evening hours when she had gone to watch a film from his place of residence.

ASP Maate says the pregnancy was realized from Bugongi preparatory primary school in Sheema town council Sheema district during medical examinations at school, where she reported back to school for the recent first term (P7).

Meanwhile the school administration immediately discovered it, communicated to the parents and the girl was picked and was brought back to Kabale where the case was reported.

Per now the Inquiries are ongoing upon completion, will be arraigned before courts of law.
