53 MITOOMA PUPILS POISONED; ADMITTED AT ISHAKA HOSPITAL

At least 50 pupils of parental care primary school Kyehimba cell,
Nyakishojwa parish, in Mitoma sub county Mitoma district have been
admitted at Ishaka Adventist hospital after they allegedly ate
poisonous food.
According to the school head teacher Alex Mugabe, Pupils developed stomach
complications and began vomiting along with having running stomachs.
Mugabe adds that after having their lunch on Wednesday afternoon 53
pupils began crying endlessly as they complained of the painful
experience.
As a result, three were taken to a nearby clinic and responded to
medications but 50 were shortly thereafter rushed to ishaka Adventist
hospital where they are all admitted and put on water drips.
By press time police was not ready to comment as greater Bushenyi
police spokesperson said police were still gathering more particulars.
