57 STUDENTS GRADUATE AT RUKARARWE BUSHENYI

IN BUSHENYI—-
57 graduands yesterday graduated with certificates in different skills at Rukarawe partnership workshop for Rural development near Bushenyi town.
The chief guest was the permanent secretary ministry of education and sports Ms Ketty Lmaro but was represented by Bushenyi Ishaka municipal DEO Mr. Dan Mugyenyi
Mr. Mugyenyi conferred the graduands with certificates in solar installation, Tailoring skills and Agro-forestry.
He noted that the learners were examined by Directorate of industrial training[DIT]
He called up parents to advise their children to study skill based courses to fight unemployment which is rampant in Uganda.
Bushenyi District woman MP Mrs. Annet katusiime Mugisha hailed Rukararwe board and management for keeping the center strong.
She called upon parents to educated girls because they are also important and go an extra mail to do wonders when they are learned.
She also told parents, graduands and guests that she sits on education committee of parliament and she will ensure that skill based education is supported.
The mayor for Bushenyi Ishaka municipal council Mr. Richard Byaruhanga advised government to put Emyoga money into skilling Ugandans.
He noted that Emyoga money is misplaced. “How can you give emyoga loans to people and come after two years to demand the money?” mayor wondered.
The chairman board of directors, Mr Johnson Bitarabeho revealed over 500 people have graduated from Rukararwe in the past years.
He hailed staff for example the coordinator of the Ms Abby Musinguzi, PRO Mr.Chris Mugasha and board for remaining up to standard.
