6 SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN BUHWEJU OVER MURDER OF 30-YEAR-OLD MAN

The Police in Buhweju district have six people in detention due to connection with the murder of a 30-year-Old Man.
The Deceased is identified as Beinomugisha Prosper, a resident of Karengyezo cell, Nyakaziba ward, Nyakaziba town council in Buhweju district.
The suspects are Abaho Abel 25, Akandwanaho Patrick 21, Aliza Joseph 18, Kakuru Andrew 21 Mubangizi Collins 20 all from Rukiri parish in Bihanga Subcounty and Beingana Ambrose 38, a businessman from Karengyezo cell, Nyakaziba ward in Nyakaziba Town council, Buhweju district.
On the night of 5th March 2023 at around 9Pm, Bihanga Police station received a report of murder to the prejudice of Beinomugisha Prosper who was alleged to have been stabbed to death by unknown people.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the deceased was last seen in Beingana’s bar where he was engaged in a quarrel with some local residents, but later discovered dead in the next morning.
The Greater Bushenyi police spokesperson SP Martial Tumusiime said that the crime scene was visited by the district and local area Police who documented the scene as required.
The Body of the deceased was taken to Nsiika sub-district health center IV for postmortem where results proved that it was murder by stabbing.
SP. Tumusiime said that the 6 suspects who are in custody include those who were quarrelling with the deceased and the bar owner to help Police inquiries.
