8 COVID 19 SUSPECTED PATIENTS DISCHARGED IN NTUNGAMO

8 people were yesterday discharged after spending 14 days mandatory in Covid 19 institutional quarantine at Ntungamo health Training Institute Nyarutuuntu .
They were discharged by RDC Ntungamo George Bakunda together with DHO Ntungamo Dr. Bakamuturaki Richard and in charge of the centre Sister Hope Katusiime.
Bakunda noted that the group tested twice as per ministry of health guidelines and they all turned negative for COVID-19.
He said that those discharged included five males and three females who all completed 14 days at the centre.
Dr. Bakamuturaki Richard noted that all were from Rwentobo in Rushenyi County and they were transported to their communities.
So far 27 people have been discharged and 20 are still quarantined.
