At least nine people are admitted at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Kasese town after sustaining injuries during a road accident involving a Pokopoko bus at Rwimi in Bunyangabu district.

He, however, did not report any case related to loss of lives during the incident.
The Acting Regional Police Mouthpiece has since warned the public against night travels, arguing that they are risky to their lives.
Speaking to our reporter at their hospital beds, a section of victims narrated that before reaching the scene of crime, they met a group of people who told them not to proceed with the journey because of the oils that had been spread across road making it slippery.
According to them, the driver was forced to continue with journey because he suspected the people who had stopped the bus to be thieves. No sooner had the driver continued with the journey than they landed on the slippery road that forced the bus to overturn.
