9 YEAR OLD PUPIL WRITES BOOK

A nine year old pupil of Kabojja Junior School, Kampala who has been on holiday with her family released her first book Lala & The Prince – The Escape on 29th December 2019 during their family thanks giving ceremony.
The 30 page book is about a village girl, Lala who lived her dream of visiting the Palace because of her bravery.
She saved the Prince from the wrath of the witches who had infested their Kingdom.
Ishita Rani Husn Kenshozi, who hails from Igorora Nyamiko in Nyakabirizi division Bushenyi /Ishika municipality told www.mknewslink.com Editor from her home that because she always comes to the village for a short time she used the names of her village to always remind her of the beautiful memories.
Ishita Rani Husn Kenshozi further said that it took her one and a half years to compile the book.
Ishita also narrates how believing in God helped Lala, one of the characters in the book to defeat the witches.
“I want to be a writer for the rest of my life. I want to do writing as a career,” she asserted.
Through her book, she wants other children to be inspired to do the same or even more.
She is ready to make presentations in primary schools in Bushenyi to help young children’s dreams come true.
Ishita is a daughter to Eng. Yasin Bishobire and Mrs Zurah Bishobire.
Our Editor also spoke to the father at their home who called upon parents to support their children to identify and develop their talents.
The book costs 20,000/ and can be delivered anywhere in Uganda.
He assured that this book will be available in bookshops very soon.
