Raphael Magyezi, the Igara west Member of Parliament has strongly refuted rumors circulating on social media that he has been poisoned and that he is in intensive care.

Information has been circulating on different social media platforms that Mp Magyezi has been poisoned.

In a telephone interview at 1:10 PM today with www.mknewslink.com, the legislator said he is alive and has not at all been poisoned by any one.

Those are pure lies; am alive and am currently at Mary Hill High school for visitation of my daughter, MP Magyezi

Magyeizi warned social media users to stop circulating fake news adding that it causes un necessary anxiety to families and the public.

He added that this fake indicates that there are people in the society with bad intentions trying to expose them.

Magyezi is known for moving the anti age limit bill which divided Ugandans. He was given security by President Museveni after the murder of his colleague former Arua municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga.
