Intergenerational dialogue organized by the Reproductive Health Uganda Bushenyi has come up with revelations that gender based violence result into death, injuries in Bushenyi district communities
Faith Amanya Betega the Bushenyi district Gender Officer said this on Wednesday while at the Bushenyi-Ishaka municipal multipurpose hall under the theme Engaging men and boys to prevent Gender Based Violence”
Yudaya Nakanwagi the chairperson Bushenyi district women’s council the increased domestic Violence to misunderstandings, poor hygiene and failure to perform respective responsibilities.

Nakanwagi thus called upon family members to always agree on decision making which can also contribute to the development of their families both economic and social development.
Betty Matsiko from kyabugimbi who work with Reproductive Health Uganda noted that gender based violence has been classified as withdrawal of service, emotional and economic.
