PRESIDENT MUSEVENI HAILS WORK DONE BY NTUNGAMO’S BISHOP AHIMBISIBWE

The president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni reminded all Ugandans that NRM government started with rehabilitation of infrastructure that had been in shambles but is now putting up new structures across the country.
He cited some of the infrastructures such as roads, electricity, schools, and health centers and the like.
Museveni made the remarks today 25th Dec 2016 while addressing congregation at St Mathew’s Cathedral Kyamate Ntungamo Municipality where he celebrated Christmas and his wife the 1st Lady Janet Kataaha Museveni.
He commended the work being done by Bishop Nathan Ahimbisibwe for role model in developmental projects since he became bishop in Jan 2012.
The President warned all people to desist from asking free things but instead work for themselves in order for Uganda to attain middle income status by 2020.
The 1st Lady who is also minister of education and sports Janet Kataaha Museveni noted that the country need people who can grow enough food for home consumption and surplus for income.
Ms.Museveni reiterated her call on provision of lunch by parents for their children to study well.
Bishop South Ankole diocese The Rt Rev. Nathan Ahimbisibwe hailed president Museveni for his able leadership that has enabled Ugandans to exercise freedom of worship.
Bishop Ahimbisibwe gave the accountability of achievements that have been made, what is being done and what will be done including south Ankole diocese community hospital.
He revealed that this year’s Diocesan theme is “Faith without works is dead”, saying that it will enable all churches to develop.
