ONE PERSON DEAD, 7 INJURED IN ISHAKA- KAGAMBA ACCIDENT

One person died on the spot and seven others were severely injured in a motor accident that occurred along the Ishaka Kagamba road.
The Wednesday afternoon accident occurred at Kanyamabona primary school in Bugomora cell Ishaka division Bushenyi Ishaka municipality.
The ill-fated Toyota harrier registration number UBB 051L loaded with goat coming from attending a burial of John Rubajuna in Nyakabungo Rukungiri district had eight occupants.
The deceased has been identified as Amos Batuuha, a resident of Mujunju cell in Kibito Bunyangabu district.
Greater Bushenyi police spokesman SP Martial Tumusime identified the accident victims as the driver of the vehicle Naboth Arineitwe 39, Osbert Atalemwa, Einid Matuha 62, the window to the deceased, Jadress Bainomugisha 47, Hope Binabona 52 and Karungi 48, all residents of Mujunju cell in Kibito Bunyangabu district.
Another victim was also identified as Jotham Turyagumanawe (62), a resident of Kabwera in Mwenge Kyenjojo district.
They were rushed to Kampala international university teaching hospital while the body of the deceased was also taken to the mortuary waiting for relatives to pick it.
Martial blamed the accident on over speeding.
Boaz Kahangire, an eye witness, told www.mknewslink.com at the scene that the driver failed to control his speeding vehicle and the front tires went into air before going off the road.
