FIVE ASPIRANTS DECLARE TO CONTEST FOR BUSHENYI MAYORAL SEAT

Five aspirants have already declared the intentions to contest for Bushenyi Ishaka municipal council mayoral seat. The seat is being occupied by Jackson Kamugasha who has been there for three terms and he says he still wants it.

Others who have declared for the seat include the former NRM Candidate in 2016 Byaruhanga Richard, Deo Atuhaire Omuhatiizi from Kyeitembe ward, central division.

The other aspirant is Nkwasibwe Polly Katate from Ishaka division. He contested for Sheema Municipality Parliamentary seat but he never went through.
]Nkwasibwe however told www.mknewslink.com editor recently that people of Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality asked him to come and contest for the seat. Muramuzi Innocent will also bounce back on the FDC ticket
Others who are still consulting include Lucas Muhangi Bushenyi Town, Waitanga Katwaire of Nyakabirizi division and Geoffrey Twinomugisha from Central Ward Central Division.

The party primaries will take place in early next year and general elections will be in Feb 2021.
