BIG NUMBER TURNS UP FOR MEDICAL CAMP IN BUNYANGABU

The Medical camp currently going on in Bunyangabu district is seemingly attracting more people than expected as observed by the district Health Officer Richard Obet.
According to his statement on 3rd Sept. 2019 at Rwimi health center III, over 70 women tested for cervical cancer and many others opted for family planning services, while many appealed to the general healthy.
Richard said that the situation was not different from other health facilities. At Rwimi health center, patients who were diagnosed with STI’s were asked to be patient as the facility secures drugs from the district hospital so as to serve their need.
At Kisomoro health center III Patients are currently receiving medication and numbers have since been contained.
At Kasunganyanja, patients especially the elderly are reporting the sight problem which needs to urgently be tackled, while others with severe sight problem are asked to turn up on Friday and Saturday for the sight medication at the district hospital where experts are expected to carry out operations
Meanwhile at Rubona healthy center III for yet to be known reasons, no patients turned up for the medical camp despite medics attending in time to deliver the services at the facility.
The organizer of the medical camp Hon. Peace Regis Mutuzo, told www.mknewslink.com that at least more twenty health experts were split to all the ten health center IIIs to increase on the man power of the healthy officers who were deployed initially at the facilities to ensure the campaign becomes a success.
According to the minister who doubles as the woman MP for Bunyangabu district, the Medical camp is intended to have the general public diagnosed of their general health and enrolled on treatment, following the increased death cases.
