BUSHENYI DEO WARNS PARENTS ON CRIPPLING CHILDREN’S PERFORMANCE OVER DELAYED FEES PAYMENT.

The Bushenyi District Education Officer DEO Saul Rwamporo has today urged parents to look for school fees before schools open if they want their children to acquire quality education especially in the yet to commence third term.
In an interview with www.mknewslink.com today at the Bushenyi district headquarters, Rwamporo blamed school dropouts among school going children on failure by parents to pay school dues in time.
He added that on the other hand in situations where learners delay in villages for school doing other activities such as tea growing affect them since it becomes difficult for them to catch up with the rest.
Rwamporo revealed that in education process a learner cannot look for money before education; instead he/she should first acquire skills thus urging parents to desist from leaving their responsibilities to children.
Meanwhile, Rwamporo has warned schools without licences not to open up for third term in order to avoid problems with the ministry of education and sports.
He noted that Last year, over 27 schools in Bushenyi were closed warning that those who shall go ahead to break the law shall face the same trouble.
