MBARARA DISTRICT YOUTH CHAIRMAN, OTHERS LEADERS ON THE RUN FOR FAILING TO PAY BACK LIVELIHOOD FUNDS

Leaders of Mbarara district under the youthlivehood program is to arrest the youth leaders whose groups have not yet paid back the youth funds.

According the Remegio Musiime youthlivehood focal person Mbarara district identified the youth leaders as Ivan Muhoozi the youth chairman mbarara district a member of Rugarura youth goat rearing group in Kashare sub-county who received 7.1million.

Patrick Tumuhibise youth district councilor sub-county Rwanyamahembe who is also the chairman New Life Dreamer Actors group which received over 7 million.

Mackline kyamazima a youth representative at Rubindi sub-county a member of functional hiring services tents and chairs receiving over 11million.

Musiime says the youth leaders whose groups are supposed to be examples they are the one’s defying the laws all the defaulters received the money in the financial year of 2014-2015 up to now no single coin recovered.

This resolution was made yesterday in the district stakeholders meeting on how to recover the youth live hood funds.

The RDC Mbarara Capt. Martha Asiimwe asked the concerns to always seek security to guard them whenever they are going to recover the money to avoid being hijacked from the way.

In the whole district of Mbarara over 557million was distributed to 56 groups only 74 million were recovered making it to 67% recovery
