NTUNGAMO BUSINESSMAN KILLS WIFE FOR RITUAL SACRIFICE

The Ntungamo magistrate’s court presided by the grade II Magistrate
Anania Tusiime has toady Friday 17.03.2017 remanded a businessman
Sabiti Ivan alias Mujungu on murder charges. he allegedly killed his
wife in a suspected ritual murder.
Mujungu 42 years Omufumbira and who the resident of Rwencwera Kyamate
ward Ntungamo Municipality is charged with murder of his wife Kyosiga
Deborah 35 years on 1st March 2017.
Tusiime send Mujungu on remand till April 06 when he will reappear in
court for mention of their case since the court does not have
jurisdiction to hear his plea as the case can only be tried by high
court.
Mujungu was arrested from Kanshenshero in Mitooma district where he
was in hiding disguising as a casual laborer in a woman’s plantation
and later handed over to Ntungamo police.
The Ntungano police in charge crime investigations Godes Twinamatsiko
said that Mujungu who admits to killing his wife Kyosiga Deborah noted
that he went in hiding for fear of being lynched by mob.
He is currently being held at Ntungamo district central prison
