RWAMPALA DIST. BOSS VOWS TO PINCH CAMP IN POOR PERFORMING SCHOOLS

The Rwampara district chairperson Mr. Asaph Muhangi has promised to pinch camp in poor performing primary schools to ensure parents, teachers and pupils are awakened for each to know one’s role and responsibility in education systems to improve academic standards.
Muhangi said this while meeting teachers and parents of Kyabanyoro primary school in Rugando during sensitization meeting on how education standards could be uplifted as schools penetrate holidays.
He revealed that as new Rwampara district they will recruit more staff in all departments and promote those who have been delayed which must base on result oriented.
Muhangi also noted that holidays must be used to generate more income and spend minimal if they are to prosper.
The headmaster Kyabanyoro primary school who is also the interim chairperson Uganda National Teachers’ Union Rwampara branch Mr. Ismail Tumuramye said the vision for Rwampara district is to focus at getting at least two successful candidates passing in division one in every primary school at primary leaving examinations starting in 2020.
He explained to the parents and teachers that best academic performance can easily be achieved by encouraging best performing schools to share experience with the poor performing ones and give them social support to improve.
Tumuramye appealed to the parents and local leaders to be chief monitors of teachers who misbehave in public and those who try to absent themselves saying that it will help in good performance of schools.
