SHEEMA WOMAN MP ESCAPES DEATH IN KIRUHURA NASTY ACCIDENT

Sheema Woman Member of Parliament Jacklet Atuhaire Rwabukurukuru, her bodyguards and driver yesterday evening narrowly survived death after her car was involved in a nasty accident .

The unfortunate incident occurred along Masaka-Mbarara Road near Akageeti trading centre in Kiruhura district.

It is alleged that when the nasty accident occurred, she called AIGP Afande Asan Kasingye to send a rescue team after unknown people gathered around the car, trying to pull her out and burn it.

While commenting about the incident Kansigye  “If there is a Munyasheema near Akageti, please help our MP Hon. Jacklet who is involved in a nasty accident. People are becoming rowdy and she’s locked in the badly damaged car. She can talk.”

According to Kasingye, SSP Echega did a quick job and sent a nearby Police to forestall the calamity.

On Monday, 2nd December 2019 while addressing Kitagata town council residents, Atuhaire  had said that “some mafias who aren’t patriotic, had tried twice to kill her but they had failed.

She revealed that on the last attempt, they had finished her and, that’s why president Museveni gave her four military body guards.

She noted that these emerged after president Museveni entrusted her to investigate about the corruption in the ministry of energy where recently she caught one of the officials known as Turyagyenda at Entebbe airport fleeing the country to Morocco over numerous fraud charges.

By press time, Jacklet, her driver and her bodyguards had been saved by a nearby police and taken to unknown hospital for a first aid but not in much critical condition.
