MP KOYEKYENGA HANDS OVER UGX 20M TO BUHWEJU DISTRICT COVID 19 TASK FORCE

The Buhweju district woman Member of Parliament Oliver Koyekyenga on Friday 8th May 2020 delivered the 20 ugx given to MPs by parliament to the Buhweju district Task force.
While handing over the money at the district headquarters, Koyekyenga said that the leaders will sit with the district task force and plan on what to do with the money
She also donated 1500 of maize flour to the task force urging that it should be distributed to the people of Buhweju who are most in need.
Oliver Koyekyenga also bought hoes to be distributed to women empowerment groups in order to support production.
As a way of supporting the government’s skilling programme, she presented the supportive equipment to be given to various youths groups
Among the equipment bought to support skilling programme was plumbing machines 10 million ugx, sewing machines 22 million ugx, welding machines 12 million ugx, Electric Installation equipment 6 million ugx, Carpentry equipment and among others.
The RDC Buhweju district Peter Bishoborwa who also doubles as the chairperson COVID-19 task force applauded the MP for her support and promised to distribute the food relief to the people who are in need of it.
