FIGHTING FOR POSITIONS IN KAGADI DISTRICT STARTS

Joint rallies in Kagadi district kicked off yesterday as politicians prepare for positions in the newly created district.

Campaigns started with five contesting for district’s top job and five on women Member of Parliament seat.

The contestants traversed the Buyaga east constituency in four sub counties of Pacwa, Kiryanga, Kabamba, and Kyanaisoke each convincing voters to have the best manifesto.

On the position of the district chairperson, there are Stephen Byaruhanga Nfashingabo, William Kasaija Mugenyi, Ndibwami Yosia, John Baptist Ssentogo and Richard Tumwebuze are all contesting for NRM flag.
District woman MP seat is hotly contested as Proscovia Bamutura, Happy Ganyira Anakuya MariaGoret, Nyanjura Pecience and Jenifer Mbabazi all have their eye on the tenth parliament.
Voters wants their leaders to focus on service delivery like electricity, water, health, education and youth livelihood program to reach the ordinary people.
