BUSHENYI YOUTH REJECT THEIR INCUMBENT COUNCILLOR ROSE ATUHAIRE ALLEGING THAT SHE IS OVER AGE

A section of Bushenyi Youth have expressed dissatisfaction over how the incumbent female youth councilor is imposing herself on them by re contesting for district Youth councillorship when actually she is above age.

According to Namanya Edwin the chairman NRM youth Bushenyi Ishaka municipality Rose has been a youth councilor for three terms and is currently looking for the fourth.

Namanya who was addressing the press at Peak hotel in Bushenyi town revealed that Rose started as youth councilor in Kyamuhunga Sub County, then to district youth council and she is the incumbent female youth councilor a seat she is re contesting for.

Youth leaders gathered at peak hotel and denounced Rose Atuhaire vowing that they cannot vote her on Sunday 20^th Sept.2020 but will instead vote Sheila Ainembabazi.

Namanya and group accused Rose of changing her birthday and national Identity card in order to suit the youth age bracket.

Efforts to get a comment from Rose were futile as her known phone numbers could not go through.
