PROF. KAMUNTU RECONFIRMED WINNER OF SHEEMA SOUTH NRM PRIMARY RACE

The hotly contested Sheema south NRM parliamentary race was yesterday finally resolved by NRM electoral commission national tribunal

According to reliable source from Kamuntu’s camp who attended the tribunal during judgement, all the issues that were raised by Prof. Mushemeza and Nickson Bandiho were disregarded and Prof. Kamuntu announced a winner.

Prof. Kamuntu had been announced winner with only a difference of 90 votes followed by Prof. Mushemeza and Nickson Bandiho the 3^rd.

Nickson Bandiho and Prof. Mushemeza petitioned the electoral commission of the NRM and the judgement was delivered yesterday reconfirming Kamuntu a winner.

In the same tribunal, Kamuntu was given the NRM flag to go and contest in the Sheema south as NRM flag bearer.
