TWO SECURITY GUARDS KILLED IN COLD BLOOD AT NYAKAYOJO PEOPLE’S SACCO

Police in Mbarara are investigating circumstances under which two security guards were killed at Nyakayojo People’s SACCO in Mbarara south City.

The two have been identified as Herbert Tugume aged 22 years a resident of Kitabo cell, Kitabo parish, Kashongi county Kiruhura district and Igga Budallah aged 22 years a resident of Buteraniro in Nyeihanga Town council Rwampara district, both attached to Securiwise Security Company. 

According to Samson Kasasira the Rwizi region police mouthpiece, the deceased were hit with blunt objects by the robbers before they ran away with Television screen, Laptop, network router and a mobile phone without SIM cards.

Kasasira noted that the cash in the strong room was found intact since the safe was too strong for the thieves to break.

He told www.mknewslink.com reporter that they have so far recovered a rifle (pump action with three rounds of ammunition) NO UG PSO 0009683-03601 and a baton which belonged to the deceased.

The two bodies of the deceased were taken to Mbarara regional referral hospital for postmortem as investigations to ascertain the bandits go on.
