MUSEVENI STOP LYING TO UGANDANS ,YOUR PERSONAL GUN COULDN’T WIN 1985 WAR–GEN. TUMUKUNDE

The presidential candidate Rt. Major Gen. Henry Tumukunde has warned president Museveni to stop claiming that he is the only one who liberated Uganda in the liberation struggle of 1980-1985.

Tumukunde noted that one gun that Museveni carried was not enough to oust the government of President Milton Obote but it was a combined force.

“I hear Museveni claim that he liberated this country alone. This is very wrong because his one gun could not fight and conclude the liberation war,” Tumukunde noted.

Tumukunde said this yesterday 14^th Nov.2020 while appearing in a talk show at Bushenyi FM as he prepared to campaign today in Bushenyi district.

He revealed that he also contributed a lot towards peace of this country. He went ahead to say that he eliminated terrorism in the 1990s when he was the director General of Internal Security Organisation (ISO).

He said that he chased Kony away from Uganda when he was a 4^th division commander sitting in Gulu district.  

He added that recently when he was a minister of security, he eliminated Kifesi criminals who were terrorizing greater Kampala residents.

Tumukunde began from Kigezi sub region where he is born and he is now concluding Ankole.

Tumukunde joined NRA when he had just completed his bachelors degree in law at Makerere university.
