RUKUNGIRI VOTERS WANT MP ASPIRANTS TO IMPROVE EDUCATION, HEALTH IN DISTRICT

Electorates in Rukungiri district demand that MP aspirants work towards improving health and education.
The call comes in a time when people with interests of representing them in the parliament of Uganda are seeking support to allow them become Members of Parliament.
Emily Natukunde, 43 a resident of Bwambara sub- County, Rujumbura constituency in Rukungiri district says there are few learning institutions in her home sub- county and even those available are in poor conditions.
The mother of four has hopes that if MPs can lobby for better schools, it will address the problem of poor standardized schools in the area.
Moreen Karungi, 22 a resident of Buyanja sub- county, Rubabo County in Rukungiri district says her Member of Parliament should focus on improving the health facilities saying that the state of health facilities in her home sub- county is so wanting.
Rukungiri district is made up of 3 constituencies and a total of 18 people are currently seeking support to represent the people of Rukungiri in the 11th parliament.
