MP MUSASIZI, RESIDENTS EXCHANGE BITTER WORDS OVER NRM CASH
By Reuben Ainomugisha
In Rubanda—
A bitter row on Tuesday erupted between Rubanda east legislator Henry Ariganyira Musasizi and the residents of Nyakiharo village, Bubaare Town council Rubanda when he was campaigning in the area.
It all started when the legislator ordered whoever didn’t vote him during the recent concluded NRM Primaries to leave the venue saying that he had come to meet and talk to only his supporters.
However, this angered the residents who instead started exchanging words with the legislator claiming that nobody has the mandate to force them leave their area of residence.
Musasizi however maintained his stand and decided to give money to only his people which money he said was a Thanksgiving from the president to voters for voting him during 2016 general elections.
The residents in return decided to attack him with posters of his closest competitor Jogo Kenneth Biryabarema who is the incumbent LCV Chairman for Rubanda district.
Final Edison the LC1 Chairman said that he was shocked that when the legislator chased him from the venue despite having supported and voted him in the NRM Primaries.
Ambrose Ainamani also said that he has changed his decision because the legislator has continued to disrespect them by using harsh words against them.
However, in response Musasizi described Final Edison the LC1 Chairman and fellow residents as “Judas Iscariots” saying that they he knows all his people and they are not among them.
