MP MBWATEKAMWA: PRESIDENT MUSEVENI IS MY FRIEND, HE EVEN SENT ME 160M NRM CASH

The Kasambya county MP Mbwatekamwa Gaffa has rubbished claims that President Museveni is against his candidature as NRM flag bearer.

His remark follows president Museveni’s speech in Mubende where he warned people of Igara West not to send him Mbwatekamwa to Parliament because he used to disturb him while in Kasambya,

Mbwatekamwa has finally cleared the air saying that those who claim that Museveni hates him are liars.

Mbwatekamwa who is currently a candidate in Igara West MP race was last night appearing on BFM radio for a campaign talk show.

He revealed that President Museveni who many claim hates him sent him 160 million shillings to buy water for NRM members in different areas of Igara West.

“If Museveni hates me, he wouldn’t have sent me that money, and why didn’t he send this 160 million shillings to those who claim that they are the loved ones,” Mbwatekamwa noted.

He acknowledged that there are some government and NRM programs he disagrees with like paying of OTT, Land Act the government wanted to pass some time back and others which do not favor people.
