On the letter dated 24th December 2020, Catholics claimed that minister Bahati has used president Museveni’s name to sabotage government programs intended for Catholics diverting them to protestants.

Minister Bahati later funded hon. Enid Origumisiriza to again stand against the Kabale district NRM woman Member of Parliament flag bearer Catherine Ndamira but to their disappointment she defeated them hands down in the last concluded general elections.
