POISONED IGARA EAST’S DAN KARUKIIKO FINALLY DISCHARGED

The Igara east parliamentary first runner up Dan Karukiiko Mugura has been discharged from Mbarara referral hospital.

According to sources, his doctors have advised him to have enough rest and he decided to travel to Kampala after his supporters flocked his Mbarara home to visit him.

Dan Mugura Karukiiko and his agent from Kyabugimbi sub county Obed Sebagala were last week Wednesday reportedly poisoned.

The two were first admitted at KIU but their condition was alarming thus they had to be referred to Mbarara Regional referral hospital.

Credible sources intimated to www.mknewslink.com that the incident took place on Wednesday 24th Feb.2021 after the two had lunch in Kabwohe on their way from Mbarara as they headed for the candidate’s home in Kitagata Kyeizooba Bushenyi.  

Sources told www.mknewslink.com that the two were discovered unconscious in Dan’s house by residents who had come to visit him.

However, Bushenyi police OCCID Benon Kivengere said that he had also heard about it as a rumor but no report had been made so that they could commence their investigations.

The poisoning of the two was allegedly because of the concluded Igara east parliamentary and the Rwentuha town council LCIII controversial elections.

There are a lot of divisions in Igara east between Mawanda’s supporters and Dan Karukiiko’s.

Other divisions are in Rwentuha town council after FDC’s Naboth defeated Mawanda’s right hand man Fred Kibala Mbika in Rwentuha town council LCIII elections.
