MBARARA: BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION COLLAPSES ON BUILDER, KILLS HIM ON SPOT

Residents of Kyapotani Cell, Kakoba, Mbarara city south were yesterday shocked after a building under construction collapsed on one of their own killing him on spot.

George Bamwine the vice Chairman Kyapotani Cell identified the deceased as Kiiza Muhammad 38 years, a renowned contractor in Kyapotani.

Bamwine told www.mknewslink.com reporter that they found the body of the deceased covered by the walls of the building he was constructing.

The chairman further told journalists that they suspect that the Kiiza used little cement to construct the wall which resulted into its collapse.

The body of the deceased was taken to Mbarara regional referral hospital for postmortem.

By the time of this publication, Police were yet to comment on the matter.
