13 YEAR OLD RUKUNGIRI GIRL KIDNAPPED FOR WEEK NOW

A 13 year old girl from Rukungiri district has been missing for a week now and her relatives are very worried.

Asasira Praise went missing from her home in Rwoya village, Ndere Parish in Ruhinda Sub County, Rukungiri District.

According to Asasira’s brother Bob Owomugisha, it is alleged that she was kidnapped to Kampala in the areas of Kasangati.

Owomugisha appealed to the public to report to the nearest police station in case they have any information that can lead the family to their loved one.

He added that whoever has a clue that can lead them to the recovery of his sister can call him on 0700891236.

This is a second case of child Kidnap in the same sub county in a period of two months; a three year old Pulona Natweta was on 26^th January 2021 also allegedly kidnapped to Mbarara.

“The suspect after the kidnap rushed to Mbarara and on hearing that Police was searching for him, he dumped the toddler and ran to Kampala,” Bruce Atuhaire a brother to Pulona told www.mknewslink.com.

Natweta was picked to Mbarara Police station who brought her back to her parents in Rukungiri District.
