AIM GLOBAL ALLIANCE ON SPOT AGAIN: 10 HOIMA BRANCH STAFF ARRESTED OVER FRAUD

Business along Wright road in Hoima City was Wednesday afternoon brought to a standstill as security operatives arrested the staff of Aim Global Alliance Company for allegedly conning members of the public.
A group of police officers led by the OC operations at Hoima CPS Charles Mubala stormed Wright Road arcade and arrested over 10 staff including the company manager.
Their arrest followed numerous complaints from the community who accused the suspects of fraud and obtaining money by false pretense.
Some of the victims including students filed complaints at the office of the Hoima Resident City Commissioner Samuel Kisembo Araali alleging that the Aim Global Alliance Company staff had conned them money, promising them jobs plus helping them attain wealth.
A police officer who preferred anonymity says the company promised to recruit the victims as managers, tour guides and accountants.
According to sources, the company has been charging the victims over Sh800, 000 each to help them attain wealth. But when the victims never got what they were promised, they had no option but to seek help from authorities.
The suspects are currently detained at Hoima police station pending investigation.
Recently, staff and managers of the same company were arrested in the districts of; Kagadi, Lyantonde, Mbarara over the same offences.
