RDC KATEERA WARNS GOV’T EXTENSION WORKERS AGAINST CORRUPTION

Rwampara RDC Emmy Kateera Turyabagyenyi has warned Government extension workers over corruption when monitoring government projects.

The RDC sounded the warning today while giving out 10 heifers which cost government shs 27millions and 31 piglets that cost shs 12.4million under Operation Wealth Creation.

Kateera said that some extension workers are not doing their job which has sabotaged government programs.

In his remarks the district coordinator for Operation Wealth Creation Maj. Paul Rutaraka encouraged the beneficiaries not to sell the heifers and piglets but rear them to reproduce and fight poverty at household level.
