HOIMA MAN BEATS BROTHER TO DEATH AFTER MISUNDERSTANDING

Police in Hoima have arrested Robert Musana, 28, of Mparo in Hoima City, for allegedly murdering his 39-year-old.

ASP Allan Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson, told our reporter that the incident happened this morning at around 1 am.

It is alleged that Musana got into a misunderstanding with the step brother only identified as Businge (now deceased).

“Musana got into a misunderstanding at one of the bars in the city. This prompted the bar operator to contact Businge to intervene in the brawl,” he asserted.

The police mouthpiece also explained that Musana and the brother went back to their rented room.

“It’s alleged that the two got into a misunderstanding in their room, Musana boxed the brother and he passed on at one of the clinics where he was rushed for medication,” Hakiza further explained.

Hakiza also said that the suspect is in their custody.

“Postmortem was done and the body has been handed over to the relatives for burial,” he asserted.
