ARCHBISHOP KAZIIMBA CALLS FOR COOPERATION AMONG NORTH KIGEZI DIOCESAN CLERGY

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda His Grace Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu has called for cooperation and Unity amongst the clergy family of North Kigezi Diocese as they prepare to get the new Bishop.
Archbishop Mugalu made the remarks while speaking to Christians of Kakinga and Kyamakanda Churches of Uganda as he started his three days pastoral visit to North Kigezi diocese.
His Grace Kazimba narrated that there should be unity amongst the clergy family and the caretaker Bishop Tugume Tusingwire if the diocese is to remain in peace and harmony before election of the new Bishop.
The North Kigezi diocesan caretaker Bishop, Patrick Tugume narrated that the Archbishop’s Pastoral visit is to check on his Christians asking them to cooperate and support him during his time in the diocese.
The meeting convened at church of Uganda Province Headquarter early this month saw long time bickering between Caretaker Bishop Patrick Tugume Tusingwire and diocesan secretary Rev Enock Karamuzi come to an end after the duo accepted to reconcile.
