BUSHENYI: FIRE BURNS SALON TO ASHES ALONG LIBERATION ROAD

A saloon owner in Bushenyi is counting losses after her shop was gutted by fire last night.
The fire which broke out last night at around 9 PM destroyed the salon located along Liberation road in Bushenyi town, Bushenyi -Ishaka municipality.
Milton Mwebembezi, the LCI chairperson confirmed the fire outbreak in the salon of Ruth Besigye.
According to the lady councilor Central ward, Central division Ms. Deborah Kanyesigye, the police fire department responded immediately and put out the fire from spreading to the rest of the building.
Ruth Besigye, the owner of the salon could not establish the actual cause the blaze. She could not estimate her loss since she had just stocked the products.
Nathan Kijana, the deputy speaker central division appealed to all business people to always ensure their electric appliances are switched off , charcoal stoves are not left on to deter any such catastrophes.
The police are still investigating the main cause of the fire outbreak.
