KABALE TRANSPORTERS HIKE FARES AS FUEL PRICES SHOOT UP
Transport fares in Kabale district have been hiked by over 50% compared to the previous fares.
The Kabale Taxi Park Chairperson Justus Muhwezi Katabazi says they decided to increase transport costs to catch up with other businesses that are running in the country.

Muhwezi revealed the new fares from Kabale to different destinations
From Kabale to Mbarara , the fare has been increased from 15,000= to 25,000=,
From Kabale to Ntungamo it has been increased from 10,000= to 15,000=,
From Kabale to Rukungiri it has been increased from 15,000= to 25,000=,
From Kabale to Kisiizi it has been increased from 10,000= to 15,000=,
From Kabale to Katuna it has been increased from 5,000= to 7,000=,
From Kabale to Rubaya it has been increased from 7,000= to 8,000= and now it will be 10,000=,
From Kabale to Kisoro it has been increased from 10,000= and 15,000= to 20,000=,
From Kabale to Kihiihi it has been increased to 20,000=,
From Kabale to Kamwenge it has been increased to 50,000=,
From Kabale to Kasese it has been increased to 40,000=,
According to Muhwezi, all these adjustments in transport costs have been brought about by skyrocketing fuel prices which have also affected other commodities in Uganda
