FRACAS AT BWERANYANGI AS KARASI’S LAWYERS SERVE WEST ANKOLE DIOCESE WITH INTENTION TO SUE

In Bushenyi—
The office of the diocesan secretary at west ankole diocese yesterday turned into a war zone when the lawyers of Emmanuel Karasi had come to serve the diocese with intention to sue.
The lawyers brought papers to the diocesan secretary office to confirm with a stamp that he had received them but Didas Natweta the diocesan secretary and staff refused to sign.
The lawyers decided to drop the papers on the table and drove away which forced the diocesan staff to follow them in a vehicle at a high speed to stop them so that they could take back their papers but they refused.
The lawyers told www.mknewslink.com that whether the diocesan secretary stamps on the papers or not, the point is they have been served, according to the law.
The lawyers’ intention to sue demands that the diocese responds within 14 days or they file a civil suit demanding the bishop who is the supreme head to appear in court for proceedings.
