FIRE GUTS TWO MBARARA SS DORMITORIES

Police in Mbarara are investigating circumstances that led to a fire outbreak which destroyed two boys’ dormitories at Mbarara Secondary School.
The fire broke out at around 9:00AM when students were at the school assembly square for students’ leaders campaigns, according to eye witnesses.
The two dormitories which caught fire accommodated Senior One and Senior Two boys.
According to Rwizi police mouthpiece ASP Samson Kasasira, police swung into action and managed to put off the fire.
Kasasira told www.mknewslink.co reporter that property which belonged to 70 students was caught by fire.
Benson Namanya, the deputy Head teacher Mbarara secondary School guided day scholars at the school to report back to their families to allow thorough investigations.
