WOMEN KILLERS NOW IN KABALE, ONE WOMAN MURDERED

In Kabale–

Police in Kabale is investigating circumstances under which an 18 year old sex worker was strangled to death.

Hadija Nyerisa;a resident of Rwebibaare cell, Rubaare town Council, Ntungamo district was strangled to death at unknown time of last night in Bamboocha bar in Kigongi A, central division, Kabale municipality.

Bamboocha bar is a known place in Kabale town that harbours sex workers all the time that belongs to Posiano Besigye.

www.mknewslink.com has learnt that, Nyerisa was seen with her boyfriend identified as Patrick Ankunda, 20 at the same place drinking alcohol at around 11; 00pm before the incident happened.

Few hours later, others who were in the bar became suspicious after waiting for her to return in vain as a light in her room remained switched off. On tracing her, her body was found lying on the floor strangled.

Talking to www.mknewslink.com on telephone this morning,Elly Maate; the police spokesperson for Kigezi Region confirms the incident saying that the body of the deceased has been taken to Kabale regional referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.

Maate says that Patrick Ankunda, the boyfriend to the deceased has been arrested for questioning together with other thirty people that include seventeen sex workers and are detained at Kabale police station to help in investigations.

Others who were arrested include; Africano Akansansira,Martin Aguma, Zacchaeus Taremwa,Aron Tayebwa,Hanad Atukunda,Gerlad Abaho,Daniel Bwiringiro,Wayclif Nkurunungi,Jothan Muhumuza and Kyamanywa Martin among others.
