FALLEN ITOJO LCIII CHAIRPERSON LAID TO REST

The chairman LCIII of Itojo sub county late BenoN Kwesigaabo was yesterday laid to rest in Nyamuhani Ruhanga parish Itojo sub county Ruhaama county Ntungamo district.
The late Kwesigabo died on Wednesday 16th Nov.2022 having battled sickness for almost a year.
The Ruhaama county MP Hon Nkwatsibwe Henry Zinkuratiire described the late Benon Kwesigaabo as a patriotic citizen of the country who dedicated the whole of his life to serving the people of Ntungamo district and Itojo Sub County in particular.
Zinkuratiire asked the public to always use their leaders in order to have services in their communities instead of accusing them that they are not in their vicinity in the time of need.
Ntungamo District Woman MP Hon Bata Kamateneti appealed to the wife of the deceased Oliver Kwesigaabo to be a brave woman in these trying moments when her rib has departed.
Hon. Kamateneti also implored the leaders at all levels to be trustworthy and work for service delivery as what late Kwesigabo did.
The LCV Ntungamo District Samuel Muchunguzi Rwakigoba commended the deceased for being a wise leader which has steered the development of Itojo Sub County.
He anonymously appointed the Itojo sub county vice chairperson Peace Tukahirwa as chairperson until the electoral commission decides otherwise.
The wife Oliver Kwesigaabo told mourners that her husband late Kwesigaabo Benon was hardworking, focused, straightforward and loyal to his family and children.
Oliver Kwesigaabo who is also sub county chief Birere Sub County in Isingiro district thanked all people who helped them in these trying moments.
The late Kwesigaabo Benon aged 57 years succumbed to High grade Stomach cancer and is survived by a widow and 7 children
