The emeritus Bishop of West Ankole Diocese Yonah Mwesigwa katonene has appealed to everyone to participate in building Gods temples and kingdom.
He refered journalists as bibilical Hagai who appealed and was mobilizing people to come together and build church as palace of God.
Bishop katonene said this during the thanks giving and fundraising at Ruharo COU Kabagarame intended to collect resources for completing the construction of Ruharo church.
He has hailed the chairman fundraising also the MD mknewslink.com Wilber Muhwezi Kasibante naming him” a promoter” for the good work and devotion towards the construction of Ruharo church.
It has been noticed that Wilber Muhwezi Kasibante migrated to Ruharo from Rwampara in 2020 and found the church construction at ring beam level.
He however, from then lobbied and campaigned for the completion of the church up now when the church has been roofed and prayers are conducted every Sunday.
Bishop katonene has further called upon all people especially journalists to use their platforms and media houses to engage in campaigns and comply to the appeal for building Gods temples.
“It is not the time to comfortably be in your wooden or luxurious well built houses when the house of God is left nowhere” Emeritus Katonene added.
The Archdeacon Greater Bushenyi Didas Natweta, has also thanked Christians for the support in doing God’s work and for commitment they have offered to build Ruharo Church.
Historicaly, Ruharo church has had six different churches from 1966 when the first church was burnt by the unknown people.
The current land where Ruharo church has been constructed was given to them by Kaboya who vacated the place and offered them the land.
Let’s all join hands to build Gods Kingdom.
