4 ARRESTED AFTER RAID IN RUBAYA MBARARA DISTRICT, TWO KILLED

One person was killed in Nyakibungo cell,Ruhunga parish, Rubaya sub county, in a raid to avenge the death of a businessman.

Francis Nuwamanya 38 ,a born of Nyakibungo cell, Ruhunga parish in Rubaya sub county and a vendor in Mbarara central market was allegedly killed by Darius Musinguzi who was in company of other three accomplices on saturday night.

It’s alleged that the suspects waylaid the deceased on his way from Mbarara city, strangled him to death before they took off with his money amounting to shs.10million.

According to Emmy Turyabagyenyi the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Mbarara,in reiteration the relatives of the deceased attacked the family of Darius Musinguzi,36 ,killed his casual labourer identified as Anthony Atukwase,set his house ablaze before they seriously injured his grandmother who is currently nursing wounds at Mbarara regional referral hospital.

Turyabagyenyi revealed to crooze fm that police from Bwizibwera Central Police Station has deployed in the area to ensure sanity.

He further noted that police has apprehended four suspects to help it in investigation.
Turyabagyenyi identified the suspects as; Darius Musinguzi,Bosco Bindeeba ,Richard Atwebembeire and a one Fred the former chairman of Nyakibungo cell and they are all detained at Bwizibwera Central Police Station.
