MUSEVENI COWS CAUSE CHAOS IN SHEEMA

Youth committees in Sheema district are at cross roads after disagreeing on distribution of heifers pledged by president Museveni in 2016.
After the death of the District Youth female councilor Pricilla and Andrew Atwongire who was in charge of finance affairs their names were deleted from heifer beneficiary list and sneaked in other names which an act that resulted into conflicts between the two committees; NRM youth league and district youth executive council. .
According a source that preferred anonymity the two people whose names replaced those of the departed committee members on the heifer beneficiary list are not the committee members.
The new members on the heifer beneficiary list whose membership is questionable are named as; Nassuru from Kibingo central division and Dinex Agaba from Kasana Sub-county .
While traversing for votes in 2016, President Yoweri Museveni pledged to give 16 heifers to Sheema district youth executive and NRM youth League committees.
They heifers are to be distributed in two phases, starting with the NRM youth league and ending with the youth executive committee before this year ends.
Museveni said that each committee member will get one heifer and each heifer will be ear tagged with it’s beneficiary’s name.

Meanwhile Sheema female District youth council seat is vacant following the death of Ms Priscilla.
