Results for NRM primaries aimed at electing a flag bearers for the district chairman of Bushenyi district, municipal mayor and district councilors went on well with no major incidents of violence.
There were only two candidates running for Bushenyi district chairmanship; Radio Journalist Twebaze Prosper and incumbent Jafari Bassajjabalaba.
Over 50% of the votes received by 1:00pm by www.mknewslink.com news website, Jafari Bassajja was trailing with about 20% where the 80% was for Mr. Twebaze Prosper.
For Bushenyi Ishaka municipality mayor, Richard Byaruhanga was leading his speaker Evaristo Rwambunga.
