DIGITAL BUILDING PLANS LAUNCHED IN BUSHENYI- ISHAKA MUNICIPALITY

National building review board and a Dutch origin NGO VNG have on 9th September 2025 held a sensitization training of Bushenyi Ishaka municipal staff and stakeholders with an aim of introducing to them digital building plans under its plan Building Industrial Management system(BIMS).
The training which was held at Tuzza hotel will last for two days and the first day today was for both technical and field staff .For tomorrow they will be for a real technical training and go through the systems that will be used forthwith to approve plans of Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality buildings.
VNGNGO funded the two day training in collaboration with national Building review board .
Officials from VNG told www.mknewslink.com MD that the training will be facilitated in Kasese, Kalangala and Bushenyi-Ishaka towns.
The training which was well attended by town agents, architectural Engineers, division and municipal town clerks ,among others was welcomed BIMS and noted that it will help the revenue generation, modern development and planning of Bushenyi-Ishaka municipal council .
The new town clerk Mr. Robert Nuwamanya had earlier told mknewslink.com MD that he wanted to engage media and other channels that will make information reach the residents of the municipality for purposes of making their areas to develop with them.
